Thursday

Music in the Park

6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Franklin Street Library Park in Evansville. Free.

Enjoy live music by 2 Miles Back, with food trucks and family fun. Bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy this free, family event.

Friday

Bluegrass in the Park Folklife Festival

Aug. 12-13, Audubon Mill Park in Henderson, Kentucky. Free.

This family-friendly festival is recognized as one of the country's longest-running Bluegrass events. On Friday, It kicks off with a performance from Craig Morris and King Cotton at 4 p.m. and will continue until 10 p.m. that evening. On Saturday, the day starts at 8 a.m. with live music by Maggie Hollis and brunch by Hometown Roots. All-you-can-eat breakfast tickets can be purchased on site with breakfast until 10:30 a.m. and afternoon performances kicking off immediately afterwards. The Shade Tree Players and David Grier are in the lineup. For families, on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be traditional games and activities, a petting zoo, artisan vendors and more. Shakespeare in the Park: Much Ado About Nothing

Aug. 12-14, 6:30 p.m., Willard Library in Evansville. Free.

The Evansville Shakespeare Players present "Much Ado About Nothing," which follows two romantic pairings that emerge when a group of soldiers arrive in town. It has dastardly villains, hilarious officers and more.

Reunite US with Sidewalk Prophets

7 p.m., Old National Events Plaza in Evansville. Tickets are $10.

One Cause, Hannah Klein, and Sidewalk Prophets are coming together for a night a worship and bring awareness to the One Cause Mission.

Saturday

Brantley Gilbert

7:30 p.m., The Ford Center in Evansville. Tickets range $36 to $72.

The Georgia native is stopping in Evansville on the "Son of the Dirty South" summer tour with special guests Jelly Roll and Pillbox Patti.
