Flag retirement ceremony to be held at Knoebels

Jul. 23—ELYSBURG — Knoebels Amusement Resort will hold an American flag retirement ceremony at 11 a.m. today.

In partnership with Elysburg Boy Scout Troop 247, the ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. in Phoenix Courtyard, in front of the Phoenix roller coaster station.

Troop 247 and Knoebels invites members of the public to bring any American Flag that has reached the end of its life. The flag retirement ceremony is an approved method to respectfully dispose of unserviceable flags.
