Flagler-Palm Coast High School celebrates the Class of 2022
Family and friends packed the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach Saturday when 634 Flagler-Palm Coast High School seniors received their diplomas.
Of the graduating class, 91 received merit designation and 126 received scholar designation, which means 224 students in this senior class had a weighted GPA of 3.75 or higher.
Flagler-Palm Coast High School had four National Merit Scholar finalists and four Medallion of Excellence Award winners.
Forty-eight seniors are graduating from the international baccalaureate program and 35 earned an associate degree from Daytona State College.

And 23 graduates have enlisted in the U.S. armed forces.
With the help of the Flagler County Education Foundation, the class of 2022 earned $269,000 in local scholarships.
"When combined with FPC organizations, Bright Futures and Individual College Awards, our seniors have earned over $1 million in scholarships," according to Evana Fretterd, activities director for Flagler-Palm Coast High School.
These graduates have completed their final two years of high school amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
