Flames rip through Luzerne County home

NESCOPECK, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A home is in ruin after a fire in Luzerne County Tuesday night.

First responders were called to battle a second-alarm-house fire in Nescopeck Borough around 8:00 p.m. according to Hazle Township Fire & Rescue Company 141.

West Penn Township FD supporting residents during power outages

Video from the blaze shows the side of the home completely engulfed in flames.

There is no word on injuries or the extent of the damage at this time.

Officials are investigating the cause of the fire in Nescopeck.
