Flash flooding causing a mess across parts of metro
Parts of the Atlanta metro are seeing flooding as storms moved through Friday evening, dumping heavy amounts of rain.
Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brad Nitz says a flash flood warning has been issued for parts of Cobb, DeKalb, and Fulton counties until 1 a.m. Saturday.
Several Channel 2 Action News viewers have sent in videos of flooding in midtown Atlanta.

The storms have uprooted trees and have had lightning in them, sparking fires at home across the metro as well.
Severe Weather Team 2 is monitoring the storms and will break into programming if need be.
