Flash Flooding Hits Northeastern Arkansas During Severe Thunderstorm

Scattered thunderstorms swept across the Mid-South on Monday, April 11, bringing heavy rainfall, large hail, and tornadic cells to the region, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Footage filmed by Tim McMasters shows flash flooding along 7th St in Paragould, Arkansas, at 7 pm, he said.

A hazardous weather outlook was issued for parts of eastern Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel, northern Mississippi, and western Tennessee, as severe weather was expected to continue, the NWS said. Credit: Tim McMasters via Storyful
