Flash Flooding Inundates City Streets as Heavy Rain Soaks Chicago

Widespread rain in Chicago caused dangerous flash flooding across the city on Sunday, September 11.

This footage uploaded to Twitter, shows water rushing from a gutter on the corner of Berteau and Harding Avenues, inundating the road with floodwater.

A flash flood warning was issued on Sunday afternoon, with authorities urging residents to seek higher ground and avoid travelling through flooded roads.
