Flash floods in Indian hill state destroy homes

Local residents were displaced after flash floods damaged their homes in India's northern hilly state of Himachal Pradesh on Monday (July 12).

Local watercourse Bhagsu Nag Nullah turned into a raging torrent, damaging houses and other buildings in the area, following heavy rainfall in the upper regions of Himalayas.

Himachal Pradesh State Chief Minister, Jairam Thakur, said there haven't been any deaths related to the local floods.
