'Flash Mob' Steals $30,000 in Merchandise From Wisconsin North Face Store

A group of 10 people rushed through a North Face store in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, on July 1, stealing an estimated $30,000 in merchandise in under 30 seconds, police told local media.

According to Kenosha News, Sgt. Aaron Schaffer of the Pleasant Prairie Police Department compared the group to a “flash mob” and said they ran in and out of the store in about 30 seconds, grabbing “as much merchandise as they could carry before running to the cars and leaving the property.”
