Flavor Flav leaves Twitter users baffled with photo of himself and Steve Mnuchin
Flavor Flav has left Twitter users baffled by posting a photo of himself apparently posing with US Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin.
The rapper shared the snap on Thursday, writing: “F*** politics – but I’m always happy to talk to anyone about the importance of knowing when your time is up.”
He added in reference to the US president: “.@realdonaldtrump could’ve used that talk.”
It wasn’t immediately clear how the two ended up meeting, or what the meaning behind the photo was.
The Independent has contacted Mnuchin’s office for more information.
Twitter users were visibly confused by the photo, with one person writing: “Am I having a stroke or is this Flavor Flav with Steve Mnuchin?”
“What is happening here??” another person wondered. “I’ve never been so confused by a picture why is STEVE MNUCHIN hanging out with FLAVOR FLAV?”
Someone else asked: “Did anyone have Flavor Flav & Steve Mnuchin on their 2020 Bingo card?”
Another person deemed the photo “all the confirmation I need that we’re living through a simulation”.
Flav was “fired” from the group Public Enemy in March.

He claimed at the time that the move came in response to his political views. The band denied that was the case.
Chuck D later suggested the firing was a prank, though Flav said on Twitter he was “not a part” of it.
