In 2021 the girls in the Arizona Cactus-Pine Council sold more than 2 million boxes of cookies, according to a press release. Nationwide the fundraiser typically generates more than $700 million annually, with proceeds going to the local council and troop to fund community projects for the girls.
Girl Scout cookies have gained a cult following, inspiring stores from Aldi to Dollar General to sell knockoff versions of Samoas and Tagalongs.

When is Girl Scout cookie season in Arizona?
Girl Scout cookie season in Arizona usually runs for six weeks every year.
The Arizona Cactus-Pine Council, which serves Phoenix as well as greater central and northern Arizona, sets up shop Jan. 17 to Feb. 27, 2022.
The cookie program organized by Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona, which includes Tucson and Yuma, runs Jan. 22 to March 13, 2022.

Where can I buy Girl Scout cookies in Arizona?
Online delivery: Girl Scouts can invite people they know to their personal Digital Cookie app page, where customers have the option of purchasing cookies that will be delivered straight to their homes.
Traditional booths: Girl Scouts will continue to set up booths at grocery stores and retailers, including Fry’s Food Stores, Bashas’ and Walmart. The Arizona Cactus-Pine Council encourages scouts to wear masks.

Drive-thru booths: Some troops are coordinating drive-thru booths in parking lots, allowing more space for social distancing. Cashless transactions are strongly requested and parents will be stationed at the booths with hand sanitizer, according to a press release.
Events: On Jan. 30, before the Phoenix Suns play the San Antonio Spurs at 6 p.m., local Girl Scouts will be selling cookies at four booths outside Footprint Center. Olympic gold medalist and 2022 NBA All-Star contender Devin Booker awarded local Girl Scouts a $100,000 grant at the Suns preseason debut.
On Feb. 26, the State Forty Eight Foundation is hosting the Bring Home the Cookies 5K Run/Walk that starts and ends at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe. Cookie booths will be set up and all participants will get a goody bag that includes a box of cookies. Visit bringhomethecookies5k.com for more info.

The following Girl Scout cookie flavors are available in Arizona:
Adventurefuls: New for 2022, this brownie-inspired cookie has caramel-flavored crème and a hint of sea salt.
Thin Mints: Vegan, mint-flavored cookies with chocolate coating.
Samoas: Shortbread cookies topped with caramel, toasted coconut and dark chocolate stripes.
Tagalongs: Cookies with peanut butter layer, covered with chocolate coating.
Lemon-Ups: Lemon-flavored butter cookie with lemon icing and positive message baked on top.
Trefoils: Traditional shortbread cookies.
Do-si-dos: Crunchy oatmeal cookies sandwiching peanut butter filling.
Girl Scout S’mores: Crunchy graham cookies sandwiching a creamy chocolate and marshmallow filling.
Toffee-tastics: Buttery, gluten-free cookies with sweet, crunchy toffee bits.
Toffee-tastics are available in limited quantities and only troops that have opted into selling this flavor will have them.
What's the price of a box of Girl Scout cookies?
Each box of cookies costs $5, except for Girl Scout S'mores and Toffee-tastics, which cost $6.
