Fleetwood loses to Elizabethtown in high school football

Oct. 15—Josh Rudy threw for 365 yards and six touchdowns to lead Elizabethtown to a 42-16 victory over Fleetwood in a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 3 game Friday at Fleetwood.

Jack Riffle threw for one touchdown and ran for another for the Tigers (0-4, 2-6). Czion Brickle ran for 178 yards on 20 carries.

The Bears (3-1, 7-1) scored the game's first 14 points and led 21-10 at halftime. Elizabethtown outscored Fleetwood, which lost its fifth straight, 21-6 in the second half.

Rudy opened the scoring with a 54-yard pass to Braden Cummings. A 12-yard TD pass to Brady Breault made it 14-0.

A 30-yard field goal by William Maurek cut the Tigers' deficit to 14-3, but Cummings caught his second TD pass, a 23-yarder from Rudy, to make it 21-3.

Riffle threw an 8-yard TD pass to Owen Kotsch to make it 21-10 at halftime.

Rudy connected with Ian Brosey on a 35-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter, then with Logan Lentz for a 45-yard TD in the fourth.

After Riffle's 1-yard touchdown run made it 35-6, Rudy hit Owen Dommel on a 32-yard scoring pass.
