Flight troubles continue at Charlotte Douglas

Flying in and out of Charlotte Douglas International Airport continues to be a headache for many passengers.

On Wednesday, 474 flights from the airport were delayed and another 50 were cancelled, according to data from FlightAware. By noon on Thursday, 64 flights had been cancelled and more than 100 were delayed.

An American Airlines spokesperson told Channel 9 the issues were a ripple effect from Wednesday’s severe weather. Storms in other parts of the country led to flight diversions, so crews didn’t start their days in the right locations today.
