Flights in and out of GSP airport delayed as part of nationwide FAA outage
Airlines delayed several arrivals and departures nationwide and at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport Wednesday morning due to a computer outage at the Federal Aviation Administration.
At 9 a.m., nine of 35 scheduled arrivals at GSP were delayed, and 18 of 38 departures were delayed.
"Flights at GSP are affected by the nationwide ground stoppage due to a technical outage at the FAA," GSP spokeswoman Tiffany Cherry said. "Some airports are beginning to accept flights. Passengers are encouraged to check with airlines for updated flight status information."
