Flo Rida, Parmalee, Erie All Stars to headline 2023 CelebrateErie summer festival

Hip-hop artist Flo Rida, country group Parmalee and the city's own Erie All Stars will headline CelebrateErie in August.

City officials on Thursday announced the mainstage performers for the Aug. 18-20 festival in downtown Erie.

Event Manager Adrienne Nannen, who revealed the lineup, said Flo Rida was "a huge get for Erie and the biggest name in hip-hop that we've ever had."

She said the free CelebrateErie performances bring tens of thousands of people downtown.

Erie Mayor Joe Schember said CelebrateErie is the region's largest annual festival and showcases local musicians, artists, performers, businesses, food vendors and the city's rich cultural diversity.

"All of that makes Erie a unique gem," he said.

Opening acts will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the headliners starting at 8 p.m., all on the mainstage at Fourth and State streets.

Here are the headliners and openers for CelebrateErie 2023:

Friday, Aug. 18

Headliner: Erie All Stars present Fleetwood Mac ― The local band will present a performance of the music of the British-American rock band.

Openers: Mambo and Stephen Trohoske's Dance JoneZz

Saturday, Aug. 19

Headliner: Flo Rida ― The American rapper, singer and songwriter was described at the announcement as "one of CelebrateErie's biggest names ever."

Openers: Life Thru Music and The LEC

Sunday, Aug. 20

Headliner: Parmalee ― The Academy of Country Music new vocal duo/group of the year nominee will round out the Erie festival.
