Flomaton murder suspect pleads guilty, sentenced to life in prison

FLOMATON, Ala. (WKRG) — A Michigan man was sentenced to life in prison without parole after he pleaded guilty to the murder of a Flomaton man.

Caleb Anderson pleaded guilty in December of 2023 to the August 2022 murder of Dwight Dixon, 52. Anderson was arrested for the murder after he was found driving a stolen car in Helena, Alabama.

During their investigation, Alabama Law Enforcement Agencies Special Agents found that Anderson was connected to a separate homicide in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Aug. 2, 2022. On Aug. 1, 2022, Anderson allegedly assaulted an 18-year-old woman while she was out on a run.
