Flood Warnings Issued Across New England as Severe Weather Hits
Heavy rain led to flooding in the Hartford metro area on Wednesday, September 13, as severe thunderstorms continued to affect Connecticut and other New England states.
Several communities were under flood warnings across Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). The thunderstorms would begin moving into Rhode Island “shortly,” the NWS said, bringing dangerous flood conditions to the Providence area.
