Beaver County roads reopening from flooding

Friday's heavy rains led to several roads in western Pennsylvania being closed by flooding.

According to PennDOT, Brush Creek and Marion Hill roads between Powell and Mellon roads have reopened as of 12:50 p.m. Saturday.

Route 30 between Route 168 in Greene Township to the West Virginia line and Route 68 between Route 168 and Industry Street in Industry were reopened Saturday morning from Friday night closures. Other roads including Kennedy Boulevard in Aliquippa were closed earlier in the day by flood waters, but they were listed as open Friday night.

Power outages also were reported in Beaver Falls and Aliquippa due to storm damage.
