Florence man wanted for attempted murder arrested after two months on the loose
FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Florence man charged with attempted murder who evaded deputies for two months was arrested during a Friday traffic stop, authorities said.
Angelo Ramone Townsend, 34, is being held at the Florence County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond. He’s charged with attempted murder and probation violation according to intake records.
Townsend was wanted in connection with a Dec. 2 shooting on Sneed Road in Florence. Officers found a person in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to the thigh when they arrived around 7 p.m.
Townsend reportedly drove off after the shooting. He was arrested in Berkeley County.
