Florida beaches make Tripadvisor Best of the Best Beaches. See who made the list

One Florida beach made the top 10 in Tripadvisors' Best of the Best Beaches in the world.

Siesta Beach not only ranked No. 9 among the best beaches in the world but No. 2 in the United States.

Only three locations in the U.S. made the worldwide list for top 25 beaches. Besides Siesta Beach in Florida, the other two beaches were both in Hawaii.

"The Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best title celebrates the highest level of excellence in travel," according to Tripadvisors' website.

"It’s awarded to those who receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the Tripadvisor community over a 12-month period. Out of our 8 million listings, fewer than 1% achieve this milestone."

What did Tripadvisor have to say about Siesta Beach?

"Whether you want to relax or fill your day with activities, Siesta Beach delivers," Tripadvisor said on its website.
