From Florida to California This Shoot Combines The Best of Both Coasts!
From coast to coast, the battle is ever going, East Coast vs. West Coast. But for this inspiration shoot, Natalie Choi Events was inspired to combine the two after photographers, The Ganey's moved cross-country from Florida to California. Held at a signature California venue, Annadel Estate Winery, a color palette of citrusy hues and oceany blues brought this shoot to life mixed with the most gorgeous florals created by Gather Design Company. From Natalie Choi Events...The Ganeys recently moved cross-country from Florida to California and inspired by their move from coast to coast, I wanted the color palette to be a meeting of juicy, citrus tones and breezy, ocean colors with a laid-back California vibe.
Set in the heart of June, it felt appropriate that our summery shoot be a celebration of their relocation from one sunny state to another. Vineyard weddings being a signature of Northern California, we chose the overgrown ruins of Annadel Estate Winery as the backdrop for our shoot.
Dressed in a romantic Marchesa gown with an illusion neckline and flowing skirt, our blushing bride was styled with makeup that enhanced her natural beauty and a fun pop of color on her lips. A bejeweled hairpiece and earrings rounded out her sweet, flirty look. She and our dapper groom were all smiles and giggles as they explored the grounds of Annadel, strolling and dancing their way past rows of grapevines.
They made their way through the vine-covered ruins to the simple but elegant table adorned with an array of luscious summer blooms. Handmade ceramic plates crafted locally were chosen as a nod to fellow creators in our Northern California community, pulling in seascape tones from our coastal inspiration and placed on an ocean colored linen. Modern, gold flatware added a luxe touch to our tablescape, while the woven chairs pulled together the organic, Californian aesthetic. We envisioned our laid-back couple relaxing in the shade, enjoying the breeze as they soak in the feeling of being newly married.
