The Health Department said that it will now focus on enabling access to COVID-19 services in specific areas of town through health equity. The organization also mentioned that although its community testing initiative is ending, its mission to “protect, promote and improve the health of all people in Duval County” remains.

COVID-19 testing can still be acquired by making an appointment with a health care provider or by using rapid at-home tests. At-home tests can be ordered through the federal government or purchased through pharmacies.
