Florida deputies partnered with Walmart to donate a car seat to a woman and child during a traffic stop in Deltona, Florida, on July 1, according to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.
The Volusia Sheriff’s Office provided this footage that shows deputies helping the woman install the donated car seat.
“Deputy Godenzi reached out to our contact at Deltona Walmart, and they didn’t hesitate to donate a car seat to get mom and child back on their way,” the Volusia Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook.
The sheriff’s office said the vehicle was initially stopped “for speed” when a deputy noticed the child was not properly restrained inside the car. It’s unclear if the woman was issued a ticket. Credit: Volusia Sheriff’s Office via Storyful
