Florida family’s lawsuit claims cruise line improperly moved man’s body from morgue to cooler

A Florida family is suing Celebrity Cruises, saying the company improperly stored a man’s body after he died on board.

The lawsuit claims Robert Jones died last August on a ship out of Ft. Lauderdale.

The lawsuit claims at some point, his body was moved from the ship’s morgue to a cooler, which had an improper temperature to preserve a dead body.

Celebrity Cruises has not yet commented.
