Florida leading scorer KK Deans commits to Ole Miss women's basketball, Coach Yo

OXFORD — Make it three impact transfers for Ole Miss women's basketball in the last 10 days.

KK Deans, a 5-foot-8 guard who played at Florida last season, announced Saturday on Twitter her commitment to join the Rebels.

Deans was the top scorer for the Gators a season ago, posting 14.1 points per game to go along with 3.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists. She has averaged at least 13.7 points in each of the last three seasons, having started her collegiate career at West Virginia.

She'll provide some 3-point efficiency to an Ole Miss team that could really use more shooting. Deans averaged 2.3 made triples per game last season, shooting 38.3% from beyond the arc. That mark was better than any of the Rebels' regulars in 2022-23.

From Greensboro, North Carolina, Deans has one season of eligibility remaining.
