Florida A&M football begins 2022 season with two nationally televised games
Florida A&M will have an opportunity to represent HBCU football as it plays under the bright lights with cameras watching.
The Rattlers open their football season in week zero at Chapel Hill to challenge the University of North Carolina. This is the first time in program history that these teams will meet on the gridiron.
To watch the Aug. 27 contest, viewers will need to tune into the ACC Network. It is scheduled for an 8 p.m. kickoff.

ESPN2 has picked up the Orange Blossom Classic.
The FAMU-Jackson State SWAC showdown takes place in Miami at Hard Rock Stadium at 3 p.m. on Sept. 4.

FAMU's head coach Willie Simmons and Jackson State's head coach Deion Sanders echoed each other's sentiments via Instagram stories where they suggested that the game should be moved to ESPN.

In 2021, the Rattlers finished 9-3 before falling to Southern Louisiana in the FCS Playoffs first round.
