Florida man arrested for murder of missing wife: sheriff

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The husband of a missing woman found dead has been arrested for murder, NBC affiliate WESH reported Friday.

WESH said Brian Estep was arrested by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and charged with first-degree premeditated murder with a firearm and tampering with evidence.

Estep’s wife, Amber Estep, was found dead on Jan. 20 after she was reported missing the day prior by her mother because she had missed several shifts at work.

Brian reportedly told deputies he and Amber got in a fight and he dropped her off on I-95 after she requested he let her out of the vehicle.

WESH said his truck was found on fire hours later in Port St. John.
