Florida Polytechnic Foundation adds board members

The Florida Polytechnic University Foundation has added four members to its board of directors.

The new members are:

Kristen Lowers
Kristen Lowers

Kristen Lowers, chief information officer at Saddle Creek Logistics Services. She joined the company in Lakeland 10 years ago, the school said in a news release.

Don Wilson
Don Wilson

Don Wilson, a retired lawyer who practiced in Polk County for 40 years. Wilson has been a member of Florida Poly’s board of trustees since 2012.

Muhammad Rashid
Muhammad Rashid

Muhammad Rashid, an internationally recognized leader in electrical engineering research and education. Rashid is one of the architects of Florida Poly’s electrical and computer engineering program and has written textbooks taught at 57 U.S. universities, including Stanford University and Cornell University.

Madison Yonash
Madison Yonash

Madison Yonash, a junior at Florida Poly majoring in business analytics with a concentration in logistics and supply-chain management. Yonash founded the school’s women’s club soccer and powerlifting teams and has served as a presidential ambassador and admissions ambassador.
