Florida Power & Light Company volunteers recently spent the day giving back to The Salvation Army’s after-school program and community center in Pensacola as part of FPL’s 15th annual Power to Care Week.

About 20 volunteers worked to replace old sports equipment, including basketball nets, basketballs and footballs, and paint various rooms inside the office and community center. Celebrating its 15th anniversary, Power to Care is part of FPL’s commitment to help make the communities it serves even better places to live, work and raise a family.

This year, FPL’s Power to Care Week consisted of more than 20 projects led by hundreds of employees and their families in more than 10 counties across Florida.
