Florida primary election 2022: See results from Collier County voting
Florida voters head to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots in the 2022 primary and nonpartisan general elections.
In Collier County, three candidates — Jory Westberry, Jerry Rutherford and Kimberly Boobyer — are running for the District 1 seat on the Collier County School Board. Westberry seeks reelection.
Three candidates — Jen Mitchell, Kelly Lichter and Jana Greer — are running for the Collier School Board District 3 seat. Mitchell has served on the school board since 2018.
Four candidates — Daija Hinojosa, Dan Kowal, Michelle McLeod and Penny Taylor — are running to unseat incumbent Taylor for the District 4 seat.

Five candidates — Jackie Keay, Timothy Moshier, Ana Turino, Arthur Boyer and Roy Terry — are running to unseat incumbent Terry for the District 5 seat.
Reg Buxton, Chris Hall, Gerald Lefebvre and Nancy Lewis are running for a seat in the County Commission District 2. The winner will face Bebe Kanter in the November election.

When do polls open and close on Election Day?
Polling locations in Florida are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and voters in line by 7 p.m. will be permitted to cast a ballot.
Can I register to vote on Election Day in Florida?
Florida does not allow same-day voter registration. The deadline to register to vote is 29 days prior to the election. For the Aug. 23 primary, the last day to register was July 25.

Do I need ID to vote?
To vote in Florida, you must present a valid photo ID with signature. Here's what's accepted:
Florida driver’s license
Florida identification card issued by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
United States passport
Debit or credit card
Military identification
Student identification
Retirement center identification
Neighborhood association identification
Public assistance identification
Veteran health identification card issued by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs
License to carry a concealed weapon or firearm issued pursuant to s. 790.06
Employee identification card issued by any branch, department, agency, or entity of the Federal Government, the state, a county or a municipality
According to the Florida Division of Elections, you can still vote on a provisional ballot if you don't bring proper ID. As long as you are eligible and voted in the proper precinct, your provisional ballot will count, provided the signature on your provisional ballot matches the signature in your registration record.
