Trees are down throughout Leon County and many roads are closed due to flooding. Officials expect more downed trees throughout the morning, the Leon County Sheriff's Office posted on Facebook.

“We’re telling folks if you see water, turn around, don’t drown,” said Shonda Knight, spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Office. “Don’t try to drive through it. There are several incidents where first responders had to divert from trying to clear roadways to try and help individuals who have gotten stuck.”
