Here’s Florida State’s revamped 2020 football schedule with dates

Atlantic Coast Conference teams learned last week the teams they would face for the upcoming, coronavrius-altered college football season.

On Thursday, Florida State fans found out the order and dates the Seminoles would play their 10 ACC games plus out-of-conference opponent Samford, according to 247 Sports, in the first year of the Mike Norvell coaching era.

The Seminoles schedule is as follows:

  • Sept. 12 vs. Georgia Tech

  • Sept. 19 vs. Samford

  • Sept. 26 at Miami

  • Oct. 10 at Notre Dame

  • Oct. 17 vs. North Carolina

  • Oct. 24 at Louisville

  • Nov. 7 vs. Pitt

  • Nov. 14 at North Carolina State

  • Nov. 21 vs. Clemson

  • Nov. 28 vs. Virginia

  • Dec. 5 at Duke

While an independent in football, Notre Dame is part of the ACC for this season as the novel coronavirus pandemic forced most of the Power 5 college football conferences to switch to a conference-only schedule. That includes the SEC, which is why the annual rivalry game with the Florida Gators is not happening this season.

Other nonconference games, with West Virginia and Boise State, were previously canceled.

The ACC will have a one-division model with the two teams having the best conference-game winning percentage meeting either Dec. 12 or Dec. 19 for the conference title game in Charlotte, North Carolina.
