Florida State women's basketball game information vs. Georgia in NCAA first round announced
Seventh-seeded Florida State Women’s Basketball will take on No. 10-seeded Georgia in the NCAA Women’s Basketball First Round on Friday, March 17, in Iowa City, Iowa, at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
The NCAA announced on Monday morning that the Seminoles (23-9) and Lady Bulldogs (21-11) will play on Friday at 1:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. CT. The matchup will air on ESPN’s family of networks, with the television network designation expected to be announced later on Monday.
Florida State fans in the Midwest interested in purchasing tickets to the NCAA First and Second Rounds in Iowa City can do so through the Iowa Athletics Ticket Office. All-session tickets include admission to all three games in Iowa City (two first-round games on Friday, one second-round game on Sunday) for $30 for adults. Youth and seniors can purchase all-session tickets for just $14.

If available, single-session tickets will be released on Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET.
The winner of the FSU-Georgia matchup will take on the winner of No. 2 seed and tournament host Iowa and 15th-seeded Southeastern Louisiana on Sunday at a time to be determined. Iowa and Southeastern Louisiana play on Friday approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the FSU-Georgia game.
The Seminoles are making their 21st NCAA Tournament appearance on Friday and will face the Lady Bulldogs for the ninth time and the first time in 12 years.
For the 20th consecutive year, an ESPN channel will broadcast all 67 games of the 2023 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship. This marks the 28th straight year (since 1996) ESPN is the championship’s exclusive television home. All games will be available online via the ESPN App. The 2023 NCAA Women’s Final Four is expected to be distributed to over 200 countries around the world.
