A prohibitive favorite, No. 17 Florida had a first half to forget Saturday in their game at unranked LSU.

After the Gators scored first, the Tigers, who are on a two-game losing streak and struggling two years after winning a national championship, showed some fight. LSU ran off 21 points in a row and looked to be taking a comfortable lead into halftime.

Florida had other ideas. On the final play of the second quarter, Florida quarterback Emory Jones heaved a long pass into the end zone. Among a group of Tigers defenders, Gators wide receiver Justin Shorter hauled it in for an unlikely 42-yard touchdown.

After the extra point, the Tigers lead 21-13 going into the break.
