Florida woman wins $1 million in scratch-off game

A Quincy, Florida woman won a million dollars by scratching a ticket.

Tammy Kenon, 55, claimed a $1 million top prize from the Florida 50X the Cash game and opted for the one-time, lump-sum payment of $695,000.00, the Florida Lottery said.

She bought the winning ticket at the Sunset Mart located at 650 South Adams Street in Quincy, according to the Florida Lottery. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

The scratch-off game, which launched in October 2022, features four top prizes of $1,000,000. Three of them have now been claimed.
