Wild winds blew over central Florida’s Gulf Coast on Friday morning, December 21, with gusts in the Tampa Bay area at times topping 50 mph. This video shows the winds at Madeira Beach and John’s Pass.

The Florida Highway Patrol closed the 430-foot high Sunshine Skyway Bridge over Tampa Bay Friday morning as gusts there reached 60mph.
