Florintina Ellis receives doctor of pharmacy degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine

May 29—SUWANEE — Florintina Shanell Ellis of Albany was among the 73 Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine graduates to receive doctor of pharmacy degrees at a recent ceremony at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta.

Ellis is the mother of Joseph Ingram Jr., the daughter of Alesia Williams and M.C. Ellis, and the granddaughter of Pastor Florine W. Thomas, all of Albany.

Florintina Ellis earned a bachelor of science degree in Biology from Albany State University in 2008.
