Florists warn of flower shortage ahead of Mother's Day

Prices for flowers have increased — just in time for Mother's Day — after the pandemic caused a shortage.

- And if you're planning to buy flowers for Mother's Day, know this. Prices are up by 20% in some places. There's a shortage in part because of the pandemic. Most of the flowers we buy come from South America, and COVID restrictions there have limited the amount of time growers can work in the fields. A card is always still nice.
