Need a flu shot? Here's how to get one Saturday in Evansville without leaving your car

EVANSVILLE — The Vanderburgh County Health Department will host a drive-through flu vaccination clinic Saturday.

The health department announced the clinic in a news release sent Tuesday. The clinic will be set up from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the parking lot at Ivy Tech Community College, 3501 N. First Ave. in Evansville.

"The VCHD encourages everyone from 6 months of age and up to receive their flu shot each year," the release states. "This vaccination helps protect individuals from getting the influenza virus, and helps to reduce the effects if a person is infected. "
