FLWB Lions Club celebrates October birthdays

The French Lick - West Baden Lions Club celebrated members' birthdays during the Oct. 19 meeting. Members sang "Happy Birthday" to Cindy DeHart, Jason Lindsey, Ron Woolsey and Willard Owen.

Past District Governor Bill Willis had delivered 178 pairs of glasses to the Lions State Office. These will be recycled and given to needy recipients.

Owen and Woolsey plan to cook concessions for the Valley Marathon Car Show.

The club voted to donate to Special Olympics and to insert an ad in the SVHS Hawkeye.

Willis, Judy Walters and Frances Drabing planned to distribute dictionaries to third graders on Oct. 23.
