FM 16 near Lindale to close for bridge construction on Monday

LINDALE, Texas (KETK) – The Texas Department of Transportation said that FM 16, near Lindale, will have short-duration roadway closures and lane closures starting on Monday.

The traffic interruptions will happen near Lindale Cemetery Road due to contractor crews moving in large beams for the new bridge on FM 16.

TxDOT said that the $44 million bridge project is expected to be completed by Summer 2025 and that the current traffic delays will last throughout the week.
