New Folsom restaurant in Palladio part of Bay Area chain. Here’s the ‘comfort food’ on menu

The Melt proclaims on the inside flap of its menu that it serves “feel-good food.”

The new Folsom location of the San Francisco-founded chain offers comfort food, including cheesy options “to satisfy all cravings from lunch to late night,” according to Christina Rodriguez, a spokesperson for The Melt.

The restaurant, which opened at the Palladio at Broadstone across the street from Barnes & Noble on March 13, is one of 22 locations across California, 12 that are company-owned and 10 operated by licensees. The first launched in the Bay Area in 2011.

Rodriguez said that prices vary, but a meal that includes an entree, side and a drink or milkshake will cost under $20.

The top-selling item is the MeltBurger that contains one-third of a pound of Angus and Wagyu beef, cheddar, jalapeños and pickles, according to the restaurant.
