Folsom teen earns Girl Scouts’ highest honor for NICU journal project

Folsom High School senior Katie Gladding has achieved the Girl Scouts’ top rank, the Gold Award, for authoring and publishing a book for new parents of premature babies. The book was personal for Gladding, who was a preemie herself. She raised funds and produced 200 of the journals to distribute to NICUS in the greater Sacramento area. Gladding is also making pdfs of the journals available on her website now for people to download and print for free. KCRA 3's Edie Lambert reports.
