Fonseca Theatre's 2023 plays about abortion, gentrification and more will highlight choice

Big cultural talking points will be subjects of the Fonseca Theatre Co.'s 2023 season. A road-trip-style play will highlight the individual complexities behind abortion, another will examine gentrification from the point of view of a longtime neighbor's family and a third will contend with a college's painful past of slavery and racism.

The final production of the year will be a continuation of a new tradition that folds Indianapolis playwrights' work into an October production.

All together, the Fonseca Theatre, located at 2508 W. Michigan St., is billing 2023 as a season of choices.

Tickets will go on sale Oct. 14. Buy them and find more information at fonsecatheatre.org.
