Foo Fighters to include El Paso in 2023 concert dates; tickets on sale Friday

Foo Fighters will include El Paso in a busy tour schedule later this year, according to the UTEP Special Events Center.

The El Paso date will be Oct. 5 at the Don Haskins Center. The Breeders are expected to join them at four of their concerts but not El Paso.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster.com and the UTEP Box Office.

In May, the band will play their first show since the tragic death of drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2022. Hawkins was found dead at age 50, hours before the Foo Fighters had been scheduled to play at a festival in Bogota, Colombia. Hawkins’ final concert was the weekend prior at another festival in San Isidro, Argentina.

• Oct. 3: Phoenix, Arizona, Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre

Who is drumming for Foo Fighters?

This May, they will play their first show since the tragic death of drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2022.

So far, the Seattle band has yet to announce who will be sitting in Hawkins' place, according to www.revolvermag.com.
