Need some food with your Christmas cheer? Here's a list of what Davidson County restaurants will be open on Christmas Eve and Day
If you aren't cooking on Christmas Day it can be difficult to find a restaurant open to eat in Davidson County, but there are a few choices.
What's Happening: Piedmont Drive property in Lexington sells to Lewisville company for $2.4 million
More restaurants will be open on Christmas Eve, than Christmas Day, but many will have shortened hours or offer only take-out.
One interesting note is when Lexington's Elizabeth's Pizza in Lexington was reached by phone to ask about their plans of operation on the two days, the employee answering the phone said it is the busiest day of the year for the restaurant. While the owner sometimes opens late and closes a tad early than normal operating hours, the employee said "It's crazy here on Christmas. The phone rings off the hook."
