Holiday cookie sampler: Dec. 3, 1 to 5 p.m., with instructor Maureen Hark. For beginner and above; ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent. Class will divide into four groups and each group will make a different cookie that will be shared at the end of the class — everyone going home with a delicious sampling of cookies to make for the holidays: Krumkake filled with Cloudberry Cream, Sandbakkels with Fresh Fruit, Almond Biscotti Drizzled with Chocolate and Pecan Shortbread. The instructor will let you know ahead of time what to bring to class. Tuition is $70, supplies included. Registration deadline is Nov. 12.

Dumplings: Feb. 28, 1 to 5 p.m., with instructor Hua Yang. For beginner and above; ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent. Making dumplings is a fun activity to do around the table with your friends and family. In this hands-on class you will learn the art of folding dumpling wrappers into traditional shapes. Class will prepare both a pork and a vegetarian filling and learn to steam and pan fry them, serving them with homemade traditional sauces. Bring a bread bowl and a dutch oven if you have one. An email will go out before class with more details. Tuition is $70, supplies included. Registration deadline is Jan. 28.
