ANDOVER — Andover Congregational Church, 359 Route 6, will hold an Autumn Afternoon Tea on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.

Pot roast drive through

COVENTRY — A pot roast drive through/take-out dinner will be served at Second Congregational Church of Coventry, 1746 Boston Turnpike.

The cost is $15 adults, $8 children. Place orders at 860-742-1616 or email secondchurch@sbcglobal.net and indicate pick-up time of 5, 5:30, or 6 p.m. The correct amount of cash or check is required.

Roast pork tenderloin community dinner

HEBRON — St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 30 Church St. (Route 85), will hold its next monthly community dinner Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. or until sold-out.

If the food is ready and the parking lots are filling up, serving may start at 3:30 p.m. The cost is $15.

This is a take-out-only dinner with no preorders or reservations — first come, first served. Servers will come to your car, take your order and dessert choice, and place your order in the back seat or trunk.

As part of the St. Peter's outreach programs, a portion of each meal sold this month will go to the Colchester Food Bank.

SOMERS — The Congregational Church of Somersville, 22 Maple St., Somersville, will offer a curbside pick-up turkey supper Saturday, with pick up between 4 and 6 p.m. The cost is $16 (check or cash)

Tavern night

WILLIMANTIC — The Jillson House Museum, 627 Main St., will host a Tavern Night Saturday from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Celebrate Gen. and President Ulysses S. Grant, who visited Willimantic in 1880 to view Mill Number 4. Hear of his accomplishments as well as his favorite food and beverage.

Buy a pie

ENFIELD — The United Methodist Church of Enfield, 41 Brainard Road, will host a drive-through pie sale Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The fruit pies are made from scratch then frozen, unbaked. There will be apple pies and other fruit varieties.

In addition to pies, a limited number of jars of homemade raspberry jam and local honey will be for sale.

Proceeds will benefit the mission and ministries of the United Methodist Church of Enfield.

Turkey dinner

STAFFORD — Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Stafford Springs section, will have its annual Turkey Dinner ToGo on Nov. 20, with pick up between 5 and 6 p.m.

A traditional turkey dinner with all the fixings and dessert (gluten free available) will cost $15 per person or $50 for a family of four to six.
