A micro food hall is coming to Newport on the Levee.

Pittsburgh-based food hall developer Galley Group has partnered with North American Properties, which owns the riverfront entertainment center, to open Galley on the Levee next summer. The 7,900-square-foot space will open next to the central plaza, with a bar that spills out into Bridgeview Box Park, according to a release.

The hall will incorporate four restaurants featuring American, Asian, Italian and Mexican flavors. The bar will be operated by Galley Group and serve local craft and domestic beers, cocktails and wines.

Galley on the Levee will have 6,700 square feet of interior space, 1,200 square feet outdoors and communal seating for over 200 guests.

The project is one of several upcoming developments in the area. Shiners on the Levee, a barbecue restaurant and live country music venue, will have its soft opening next week. 16 Lots Brewing Co., a microbrewery, and Amador, a Cuban and Latin American restaurant, will open next spring.
