Food Network Fans Are Ready to “Bring the Heat” After Guy Fieri’s Huge TV Announcement

Guy Fieri is heading back to TV, and he's bringing some of the best chefs in the world with him too.

The longtime Food Network star is famous for creating hit shows like Guy's Grocery Games and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. But fans also love him as the host of Food Network's Tournament of Champions, which brings the best culinary minds from around the country to participate in a bracket-style showdown. The participants not only face off against someone else, but they have to go up against a randomizer that determines what cuisine and ingredients they need to cook. At the end of the eight-week battle, the victor of the competition receives a WWE-like belt and a $100,000 grand prize.

It looks like Guy plans to host once again, because he personally dropped the official season 4 trailer for Tournament of Champions on Instagram. "The countdown is on!!" he wrote on January 31. "#TournamentofChampions 4 is headed your way February 19th. CAN’T WAIT 🔥🔥🔥."

Given the growing popularity of Tournament of Champions, the reveal of an all-new season caused excitement amongst fans. They immediately began voicing their thoughts about it on Instagram.

"Looking forward [to] watching some of the world's greatest chefs battle it out," one person wrote in the comments. "Saw this the other night on TV [and] about FLIPPED!! Can not wait!! Sooo excited for this season!! 😍 🔥 🤩," a different user agreed. "I’ve been waiting for this! Time to bring the heat! Let’s go!! 👊🥪!!" another added.

Guy may be the face of Tournament of Champions, but the chefs competing are equally as iconic. Some of the contestants Food Network fans will recognize include season 2 winner Maneet Chauhan, Antonia Lofaso and Jet Tila. Folks may also spot other familiar faces like Top Chef's Tiffany Derry and Iron Chef stars Jose Garces and Stephanie Izard.

As for who's going to take home the title of champion, we'll just have to see how they'll fare in the fiery gauntlet.
